New Faces on ALGWA SA Committee 
 At our ALGWA SA  AGM  and Networking event held on 16 October 2021 at Eliza Hall, Prospect Council Payinthi building, 128 Prospect Road, Prospect, we passed our revised Constitution and welcomed Helika Cruz as a new face on Committee .  Helika attended one of our previous Women's Information sessions for candidates, is a self-employed Business Analyst with a double degree in Commerce (Accounting) and Business (Commercial Law) from the University of South Australia and involved in community groups including  Adelaide Chapter UNIFEM.   
Casual vacancies later confirmed by our Committee:
Cr Kim Dinh was elected  as a casual vacancy for Metropolitan Area Vice President  on 20/10/2021.
Cr Helen Hibeljic was elected as 
ordinary committee member casual vacancy  on 27/10/ 2021.
​Cr Elizabeth Calvert was elected as Rural Area Vice-President casual vacancy on 3/1/2022.

  • Area Councillor Keiran Snape elected to City of Adelaide certified on Monday, 9 August 2021
  • Sally  Trezona was elected unopposed  for Councillor for Flinders Ward in the District Council of Streaky Bay.  31 May 2021
  • Greg LIMBERT was elected unopposed  for the position of Councillor for District Council of Streaky Bay (Eyre Ward). July 2021
  • Nicholas REDDING elected position of Councillor for Flinders Ward,   District Council of Streaky Bay . July 2021
  •  Peter SIMS and Sandra Marie PADDICK were declared elected as Area Councillors  for Copper Coast Council.17 June 2021
  • Matthew COOK was elected unopposed for the position of Area Councillor Wudinna District Council.  May 2021
  • Sue Tonkin elected as the new Councillor for the City of Onkaparinga - Mid Coast Ward.
  • Jennifer Bonham elected as the new Councillor for the City of Unley -Parkside Ward.
  • Rod Moss elected as the new Councillor for the City of Mitcham – Gault Ward in August 2020.
  • Stephen McCarthy was elected as  councillor for Telowie Ward, District Council Mount Remarkable (July 2020)
  • Cr Greg Mackie, Central Ward, City of Adelaide elected in a supplementary election in May 2020.​​
