- Women from diverse backgrounds, cultures, faiths, and lived experiences.
- Women with a broad range of talents, professions, and career experience.
We encourage new people and organisations committed to our aims to become members and strengthen our organisation.
Our Membership Benefits include:
- Access to a supportive community of women to discuss issues with and bounce ideas off, without bias
- Be invited to exclusive events, networking sessions, low cost training opportunities, in-person meet ups and online forums
- Receive a range of free or discounted member benefits
- Participate in mentoring and leadership development opportunities
- Access to resources and assistance for women considering candidacy in local government elections, particularly women in the community who may be under-represented in local government and/or socially and /or economically disadvantage
- Participate in awareness-raising activities advocating for positive changes on issues facing women in local government and women in the community
- National representation through the ALGWA National Board and network of other national women's organisations
